The Capitol Lakes Foundation seeks to serve our community by enriching the quality of life of our residents, providing peace of mind to their families, supporting and nurturing our staff, and reaching out to our neighbors as leaders and advocates on issues related to aging.

With your help, we seek to serve our neighbors

Providing benevolent care as a way to maintain dignity and respect–Through no fault of their own, fellow residents may experience a crisis depleting their financial resources. With your help, we can continue to support such shortfalls so our friends and neighbors have the comfort of knowing they can stay in place.

Enhancing resident well-being to improve the vibrancy of this community for everyone–We want to continue to invest in programs that will make a difference in the lives of all residents who make Capitol Lakes their home.  In the past, funds have been used to provide and improve aquatic and wellness programs; rehabilitation and recovery; educational programs; memory care; and caregiver support and respite.

Supporting staff through employee engagement–We are fortunate to have such a dedicated professional staff caring for all and looking to enrich the quality of life each and every day.  Our investment in staff provides opportunities for formal training and professional certification from which we all benefit.  We also look to support the staff that make up our community by assisting them when they face times of crisis.

Impacting the larger community through knowledge and thought leadership–We envision Capitol Lakes reaching out as good neighbors to those in our larger community and hope that we will be viewed as leaders, experts, and advocates for research and education in geriatric care. Working with our partners from UW geriatrics and others in the community, we wish to innovate and initiate new, yet unforeseen service offerings.
